Came here for breakfast several times while visiting family in falkirk. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good. it gets pretty busy but there is a small waiting area if needed. There was one morning when we decided to go elsewhere because the wait would've been too long due to how many people were waiting for tables. That was unfortunate but of course a good venue will face that problem sometimes, so can't really complain. They have a good selection of cakes, i didn't try any cakes myself but my mum and her friend did and they said they were very good. The coffee also is very good. My only criticisms are that they don't ask how you want your egg to be served- I like it overeasy but they serve overhard as standard. However I did not ask them to cook it overeasy, they probably would've if I did but i forgot each morning until my breakfast arrived. on one of the mornings the waitress didn't ask if I wanted my toast to be white or brown, but of course making one mistake shouldn't be what the place is judged on. other than these small issues the experience of central perk was very good. I love the fact that it is named after friends too!
Today was my first time trying this place I decided to get french toast with bacon and mapple honey it was really lovely iv never felt so full in my life defo coming back
Fab little eatery. Ample nearby parking. Friendly atmosphere and staff. Stop in for a quick bite or prebook an afternoon tea (highly recommended). I am coeliac and gluten free is not an issue, all attached pics are my gluten free afternoon tea, freshly made that morning and simply amazing. Other dietary needs can be accommodated also, just call or ask when in.
Went for Afternoon Tea. One tea is just too big for one person. We took half of our portions away in the paper box. Food is very tasty, and I would say I prepared daily. My wife is gluten free, this option is available on request as well as vegan and dairy free, and she enjoyed the sandwiches and pastries . Would go back and can recommend the place . Tea for child had options for kids I.e pancakes, strawberries
This is such a lovely place. I took my son for breakfast this morning and we both loved it. They have a brilliant menu (including a huge selection for kids), toys for the wee ones to play with, and the food/drinks are delicious. The staff were all so helpful and lovely too. Will definitely come back!
Last chance App. I’ve now done this bloody review 4 times. So it will be shorter than the others. Great portion size, really enjoyed our breakfasts and the staff were great. Has plenty of seating and room for those with accessibility needs. Would we go again? Yes definitely
Our new go to for breakfast with friends, lunch with the family or a cuppa and cake when we are feeling like it! Great food and service and wonderful cake. I'm addicted to the empire biscuits which just melt in your mouth!
Perfect meal sizes So many fresh baked items to take home, or eat in. Plenty coffee options Delicious food!!
